Attracted by its quaint architecture, historic bridge and stunning river views, artists have been settling in Wrightsville, York County PA, for many years. At Weavings, Ink. gallery 10 of these artists will be sharing their interpretations of the town and its environs. The Veterans Memorial Bridge is an iconic image that appears in many of the artworks.
Ranging from realism to abstract expressionism, paintings and photos to weavings and sculpture this exhibit showcases the range of talent and skill to be found in this small town.
Come celebrate the visual arts with the senior art students of Eastern York High School! Students enrolled in Advanced Art Seminar will be participating in the 4th annual collective art show at Weavings, Ink. Gallery, hosted by gallery owners Phyllis Koster and Robert Oughton.
Weavings,Ink is located at 208 Hellam Street, (Route 462 / Lincoln Highway) Wrightsville, PA.
The opening reception will be held on Friday, February 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, with a second opening on Saturday, February 25th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Regular hours for the gallery are Fridays 1-5 PM and Saturdays 10-4 PM.
Featured senior student artists include:
Taylor Frey, Joshua Wheeland, Sharayah Shue, Nick Miller, David Beaver ,Brittany Hollis, Kasey Spangle and Mikayla Arnold.
