“INVISIBLE SPECTRUM”
An exhibit
of art, sculpture and photography by emerging artist Sierra Fry
Oct 11- 19,
2013
Opening
reception: Sunday, October 13, 2-4 p.m.
Remarkable and driven at the age of 17, Sierra Fry paints,
sculpts and draws well beyond her years.
She possesses an eye for detail, sense of balance and an essential
belief in the weirdness of the world that will surprise, delight and perhaps
frighten the viewer. This is your chance
to see the pupil stage of that rare breed – a talented young artist encouraged
to do what she loves. You can say, “I knew
her when…” Remarkable and memorable.
Sierra currently hones her skills in Art III under the
tutelage of Mr. Curt Miller at Eastern York High School. Last summer she attended The School of the
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston for a 5 week pre-college course. She has taken two classes in portraiture and
figure drawing at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster. Sierra also takes drawing lessons from Robert
Oughton of York County.
