Drawings
from York and Lancaster Counties including:
The Rewalt House in
Wrightsville. During the Civil War, Mrs Rewalt served breakfast to
General and his staff in thanks for helping to save the town of
Wrightsville from flames while the covered bridge that spanned the
Susquehanna was
burning.
Also
included are the Pinkerton Stone Arch Bridge spanning the Chickees
Creek on the east end of Mount Joy, the Codorus Iron Furnace in
Hellam Township and the John Guy Distillery in Marietta.
