2019 is here! We wish you all a good year.

2018 was a busy year.  Robert was the featured artist at Yorkfest in August and received much praise for his work.  Then came the flooding in our township and rebuilding a bridge and reburying a gas line to the house took most of our energy. A visit to family in Denmark rounded out the year.

But we are both busy working on new drawings and weavings to show this year. We have a show at the WITF Public Media Center in the Atrium.  The show runs from the beginning of July until the end of August with an opening on July 22.  There will be more info closer to that time.

DRAWING TO A CLOSE

With much gratitude for all of our friends' and patrons' support over the last 7 1/2 years, we are announcing the closing Weavings, Ink. gallery the end of this year.

As a way of showing our appreciation , we will be holding a wine and cheese reception from 10-4 on Saturday, December 19th. We are also offering a 10% discount on most work in the Holiday Gift Show. A retrospective of the many group and solo shows that we have held will decorate the walls of the gallery and a scrapbook of the many articles and artworks will be on hand.

Robert and Phyllis will continue to work on their respective art and will exhibit in the Pa Arts Experience gallery in 2016; Phyllis in July and Robert in November. As one of the Rottler Award winners this year, Robert will be part of a group show at the York Art Association in the spring. We plan on opening our studio a couple of times a year to explain our process and exhibit our work. Look for a holiday show weekend at our studio next year with many of our friends.

We have made many friends, learned a lot (especially how to hang a show, how to do a newsletter and how many extremely talented artists there are in this region) and had much fun. It's time to move on. Stay tuned via facebook, email newsletters and www.weavingsink.com.

THANK YOU!
